It often seems as if the only way to get A-list actors to be in a horror film is to disguise the film as something else. This is a sentiment I can't relate to at all. I've currently seen three of Lynch's films: Dune, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, and now Blue Velvet. Of those three, the “work of art” label clearly applies to both Twin Peaks, and Blue Velvet.
