The Kingdom of Solomon is an Iranian religious/historical film trilogy,[4] produced by Mojtaba Faravardeh and directed by Shahriar Bahrani who has made Saint Mary before. The Kingdom of Solomon was going to be released internationally on November 2010 after its screening in Iran, but due to some technicalities its global release has been delayed. The film tells the life story of Prophet Solomon, the King of Israelites. It is mostly based on the Islamic accounts of Solomon's prophetic life extracted from the Qur'an but it also draws upon parallels found in some Jewish texts.[5]copyright by : https://en.wikipedia.org

Welcome to Dongmakgol (Hangul: ?? ? ???; RR: Welkeom tu dongmakgol) is a 2005 South Korean film. Based on the same-titled long-running stage play by filmmaker/playwright Jang Jin,[2][3] Park Kwang-hyun's debut film was a commercial and critical success.[4]

The story is set in Korea during the Korean War in 1950. Soldiers from both the North and South, as well as an American pilot, find themselves in a secluded village, its residents largely unaware of the outside world, including the war.[5]

It was South Korea's official entry for the foreign language film category of the Academy Awards in 2005,[6] and at the time the fourth highest grossing South Korean film of all time (as of January 2015 it ranked as twentieth).

Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb, more commonly known as Dr. Strangelove, is a 1964 political satire black comedy film that satirizes the cold war fears of a nuclear conflict between the USSR and the US. The film was directed, produced, and co-written by Stanley Kubrick, stars Peter Sellers and George C. Scott, and features Sterling Hayden, Keenan Wynn, and Slim Pickens. Production took place in the United Kingdom. The film is loosely based on Peter George's thriller novel Red Alert.

The story concerns an unhinged United States Air Force general who orders a first strike nuclear attack on the Soviet Union. It follows the President of the United States, his advisers, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and a Royal Air Force (RAF) officer as they try to recall the bombers to prevent a nuclear apocalypse. It separately follows the crew of one B-52 bomber as they try to deliver their payload.

The Imitation Game (2014)

The Imitation Game is a 2014 historical thriller film directed by Morten Tyldum, with a screenplay by Graham Moore loosely based on the biographyAlan Turing: The Enigma by Andrew Hodges (previously adapted as the stageplay and BBC drama Breaking the Code). It stars Benedict Cumberbatchas the British cryptanalyst Alan Turing, who helped solve the Enigma codeduring the Second World War and was later prosecuted for homosexuality.

The film's screenplay topped the annual Black List for best unproducedHollywood scripts in 2011. The Weinstein Company acquired the film for $7 million in February 2014, the highest amount ever paid for U.S. distribution rights at the European Film Market. The Imitation Game was a commercial and critical success. By April 2015, it had grossed over $219 million worldwide against a $14 million production budget, making it the highest-grossing independent film of 2014. It won an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay. It garnered five nominations in the 72nd Golden Globe Awards and was nominated in three categories at the 21st Screen Actors Guild Awards, including Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture. It also received nine British Academy of Film and Television Artsnominations, including Best Film and Outstanding British Film.

The LGBT civil rights advocacy and political lobbying organisation the Human Rights Campaign honoured The Imitation Game for bringing Turing's legacy to a wider audience. But events reach critical mass, and the insurgents open fire. Keenan barely makes it back with Amirev, but the fight isn't over yet. Fifty Americans are holed up in the embassy, and Tavarov and his massive army have arrived at the gates, with plans to crash the building and drag Amirev out by any means necessary. And Norland is killed by a rocket that was launched by one of Tavarov's men. To defend the embassy, Keenan has only 15 Marines, CIA bureaucrat Frank Gaines, limited ammunition, and his martial arts skills to hold Tavarov's army off until American reinforcements arrive. And Keenan's girlfriend, reporter Michelle Whitman, is one of the hostages. With Tavarov's crew getting in position for attack, a power struggle taking place between Keenan and Gaines, and help hours away, it will fall to Keenan to rescue the hostages.
